The bedroom as a harmonious and comfortable relaxation zone
in Michał and Agata's apartment.
In my vision, the bedroom was meant to be a sanctuary, a place to unwind after an intense day, which is why a subdued, warm color palette and soft, pleasant materials that promote tranquility play a key role here.
The central point is the upholstered bed with a soft headboard and a decorative 3D panel behind it.
The symmetrical arrangement of nightstands and two delicate hanging lamps on either side of the bed emphasize the balance and order of the space, while the herringbone wooden floor and textiles with natural textures bring coziness and a touch of feminine character to the interior.
Cream-colored curtains filter the daylight, creating a pleasant atmosphere inside.
An additional accent is a green potted plant that adds a bit of freshness and nature.
I designed the wardrobe unit to blend in without overwhelming the space, while still offering ample storage, which is crucial in a rental apartment.
I decided to fill the wall opposite the bed with a decorative wallpaper featuring a woman, which gives this bedroom a sensual, artistic, and romantic vibe, while also highlighting the character of the space and visually enlarging the room. This wall also features a round mirror that serves a decorative purpose.
