A kitchen full of functionality in Agata's apartment.
The kitchenI designed the kitchen in a 'U' shape, which allows for full utilization of space and creates an ergonomic work zone. My main goal for this project was to ensure that the kitchen is functional, aesthetic, and durable to meet the daily needs of the user while harmoniously blending with the living room in an open space.
The upper cabinetry with glossy white fronts gives the interior a fresh and spacious feel, while the lower cabinets made of natural wood introduce warmth and coziness. The countertops and the work area made of white marble imitation add elegance and lightness.
Black fixtures, the sink, and appliances serve as a striking, contemporary counterpoint in the arrangement, emphasizing its modern tone.
The peninsula functions both as a work surface and a dining area, subtly connecting the kitchen with the living room. However, to prevent these two spaces from being rigidly linked, I used wall slats that continue onto the ceiling, creating a subtle separation, and between them, I placed decorative lighting for the peninsula.
The entire design is complemented by the already mentioned geometric flooring, an element that gives rhythm and individuality to the arrangement.
Bright colors and natural materials dominate here, creating a friendly, modern atmosphere.
